We are happy to introduce you to some of the newest members that joined our fundraising community during the past month. Welcome!
Hannelore Hendrickx started at Leuven Kankerinstituut in September.
As new Communications Manager she wants to build the growth story of the LKI with appropriate and engaging content. She absolutely wanted to make a difference for the care sector in her new job. “It is a matter close to my heart.”
She's a creative spirit who loves taking pictures that people look at and spontaneously relive the joy of the moment. Coming from AXA Belgium, where she was leading the corporate volunteering program, she's happy to also be closely involved in fundraising campaigns and patient care projects.
She believes fundraising is woven into many aspects of the organisation.
Ruth Dierickx is manager Corporate Partnerships at Stichting Pelicano. She has been working for the organisation since the start of 2022. Ruth wears her heart on her sleeve and describes herself as a go-getter, eager to learn, helpful and an organisational talent.
Ruth is convinced that as a fundraiser you can really make a difference in society. “Fundraising is not a 'standard' job. It starts from a purpose. A purpose to help and this by engaging and mobilising people, businesses, ...”
Ruth experienced for herself during a certain period in her life what it is like to live on a tight budget. Stichting Pelicano aims to offer equal opportunities to children in poverty by giving them sustainable support. “I am happy to be able to contribute in helping children whose chances are resticted due to their home situation.”
Barbara Eichperger is parttime policy officer for Epilepsie Liga since June 2021. As the only employee of Epilepsie Liga Barbara fulfills many tasks for the organisation: accounting, communication, event organisation … and fundraising. As an independent, social, honorable, creative and eager to learn person she took on this job because it has an added social value to her. “Although fundraising is still a smaller part of my job, I hope to learn a lot about it during FAB courses and from other fundraisers. We hope to launch our first campaign with Epilepsie Liga in 2023.”
